Some people have great experiences or role models in their life so that at a young age, they learn about God and decide to commit their lives to follow Jesus. That means turning from your old ways and becoming a new creation in Christ – born again. For others, like me, it’s been a long journey to learn to trust and put 100% of my faith in God. But, when I look back at my almost 60 years of life I realize God has had me in the palm of His hand all along the way. There are far too many minute details in the threads of my existence that I cannot account for but that God is working his tapestry in my life.
So, now it’s His life. I desire to be His instrument to further His Kingdom no matter where that leads because He goes before of me.
This musical commitment is a part of that journey. For without His love and the Holy Spirit’s direction, none of this would be possible.
With thanksgiving in my heart, thank you Lord for being a lamp unto my feet and light unto my path.
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Deut 31:8
